The Revenge of The Bleep Bleep

Filed under: — The Warden @ 1:03 pm

I have great news. Some of the cast of The Screen Savers (prior to G4 take over) are getting together to make a weekly audio broadcast called The Revenge of The Screen Savers. Now the name of the show is a working title due to the fact that G4 still has the rights to name “The Screen Savers”. For now it’s just “The Revenge Of The *COMING SOON*” :-). So far Leo Laporte, Kevin Rose, Patrick Norton, Yoshi and Robert Heron are doing the audio broadcast. Apparently they are using Skype to record the broadcast with each other. Pretty cool if you ask me. I’ve yet to use Skype but I’m setup to try with someone that has an account there. So far I’m not convinced to use it since to me why not use the audio features built into your favorite instant messenger which most people have. Anyways “The Revenge of The *COMING SOON*” already has two episodes released. I highly recommend checking this content out. I’m a big fan of all these guys and always keep up to date on what they are up to. It would be great to meet some of them or even do some tech segments with them.

Nintendo Characters
This is kind of old news but for those that are not aware here it is. GotOrion.com is providing Nintendo paper models. Now you can create paper models of your favorite Nintendo characters. You can get such characters as Mario, Bowser, Kirby, Yoshi, Heyho, Pandajinba , 007, Luigi and many more. I have not tried them out yet but I plan on doing this activity with the kids. They should enjoy it.

AOTS - Gigantic NES Controller

Filed under: — The Warden @ 11:27 pm

This has got to be the coolest gadget I’ve seen yet. On Attack of The Show (Monday, March 28th, 2005) Kevin Rose and Kevin Pereira showcased the world’s largest NES controller, so they claim :-). I would love to have the time to just say I made something like this. Yes this makes me a big geek but so what it’s sooooo cool! Check it out for yourself by viewing the online video plus extra behind the scene footage not shown on Attack of The Show.

I came across 34 amazing Chinese watermelon sculptures. It amazes me the talent people have and the amount of spare time to achieve these sculptures.

Millionaire

Filed under: — The Warden @ 11:31 pm

Before going to Europe on business, a man drove his Rolls-Royce to a downtown New York City bank and went in to ask for an immediate loan of $5000. The loan officer, taken aback, requested collateral. “Well, then, here are the keys to my Rolls-Royce“, the man said. The loan officer promptly had the car driven into the bank’s underground parking for safe keeping, and gave him $5000.

Two weeks later, the man walked through the bank’s doors, and asked to settle up his loan and get his car back. “The will be $5000 in principal, and $15.40 in interest”, the loan officer said. The man wrote out a check and started to walk away.

“Wait sir”, the loan officer said, “while you were gone, I found out you are a millionaire. Why in the world would you need to borrow $5000?”

The man smiled. “Where else could I park my Rolls-Royce in Manhattan for two weeks and pay $15.40?”

Gaming Room

Filed under: — The Warden @ 2:22 pm

Now this is an amazing gaming room, Gibby’s Game Room. I can’t imagine having that amount of gaming equipment in one house. Can you just imagine the amount of money that all cost? It would be interesting to know the statistics of this room.

Grand Theft Auto 2

Hi everyone my big brother showed me that you can get Grand Theft Auto 2 now for Microsoft Windows for free about three or four days ago. It really is fun. You can have up to six players for network play. If any one is interested in getting it for free you have to download it from http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/. There is also the first Grand Theft Auto as well. If you want to download them you have to click on the one you want then scroll down to the bottom of the page and fill out the form. The only thing is if you put your really email address you’ll get junk mail from Rockstar Games. So what you can do is use Mailinator. It’s free and no registration necessary. You can use any email address you want.

From my point of view I say Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2 is the best out of them all mind you Grand Theft Auto 2 has more violence and better graphics but I would only let teens from 14-adult play GTA2 it is rated mature. Grand Theft Auto 2 also has way more vulgar language.

The differences between GTA and GTA2 is the graphics, vehicles, jobs, and there is now three gangs you have to work for and more in the other levels. If you disrespect them then they’ll go out of there way to make sure your dead. Plus the city is divided up in four areas the Yakuza, Zaibatsu, Loonies and the university. You can now save your game. However you have to finish one job and have $50,000. To save the game go to the church. There will be a sign that says Jesus saves. The only sucky thing is you have to have 50,000 every time you want to save. You are now able to jump. If you get a cop casing you, you now have two cops per cop car and if you get four you get a squad van that has four cops. On top of that you still have the three cop cars after you. When you get five you get FBI which has two FBIs agents in each car plus the three cop cars and squad vans. If you ever get six you have all that I’ve said and the Military casing after you. They have three Jeeps, about two tanks and some Jeeps that have some sort of machine gun on it. You are able to lose the cops and FBI but for the Military you’ll probably be died by the time you lose them.

The Warden and I are looking for people that would like to join us some time in a network game. If any one of you are interested let me or The warden know and if you want more info about networking GTA game you have to ask him he knows more about that then I do. Remember there can only be six players pure game so not every one will be able to join us.

Daily Jokes - 12 Step Recovery Program For Web Addicts

Hi, sorry for not posting any blogs. I’ve been busy having a vacation from homework and I decided to have some fun. I went to my big brothers house for the easter break. The other reason is I received a new game from my big brother and I’ve been playing it instead of writing blogs.

1. I will have a cup of coffee in the morning and read my PAPER newspaper like I used to, before the Web.

2. I will eat breakfast with a knife and fork and not with one hand typing.

3. I will get dressed before noon.

4. I will make an attempt to clean the house, wash clothes, and plan dinner before even thinking of the Web.

5. I will sit down and write a letter to those unfortunate few friends and family that are Web-deprived.

6. I will call someone on the phone who I cannot contact via the Web.

7. I will read a book… if I still remember how.

8. I will listen to those around me about their needs and stop telling them to turn the TV down so I can hear the music on the Web.

9. I will not be tempted during TV commercials to check for email.

10. I will try and get out of the house at least once a week, if it is necessary or not.

11. I will remember that my bank is not forgiving if I forget to balance my checkbook because I was too busy on the Web.

12. Last, but not least, I will remember that I must go to bed sometime… and the Web will always be there tomorrow!
