Xbox 360
Well looks like information is slowly starting to emerge on Microsoft’s next console system Xbox 360. It appears that the name is going to stay. It’s interesting to see that Microsoft has take the step that no one else has. To make a strong commitment to LAN/Internet game play, as Microsoft refers to Xbox Live. One of the long time problems in the gaming community is finding someone to interactive and play your games against. It appears now that Microsoft is potentially going to create a major gaming community with there Xbox Live service. However Nintendo also has indirectly made this commitment as well. Will see what ends up happening once all the next generation consoles and online gaming services are launched. I still say that you can have all the glitz, glamor and amazing console specifications but without having games developed for the console specifications and focus on game play you have nothing. There is a few gaming industry that see this but very few unfortunately. From Nintendo’s statements it appears that they are the one that see this but since Nintendo is tight lipped we will all have to wait and see what they end up doing. Teacher – Earth Science
The teacher of the earth science class was lecturing on map reading. After explaining about latitude, longitude, degrees and minutes the teacher asked, “Suppose I ask you to meet me for lunch at 23 degrees, 4 minutes north latitude and 45 degrees, 15 minutes east longitude…?”
After a confused silence, a voice volunteered, “I guess you’d be eating alone.”
Watch For You Software License
I was today surfing on the net for some UNIX/BSD flash bootable operating system, and some how, one link took me to another link and to another one and I ended reading about The GPL license. Not the context it self but about the ” virus effect ” that is has, that kill all other software. I ended up reading all what Martin Cracauer has to say about the GPL and it side effects. I believe it worth for you all to read it.
Always Use Protection
I came across this amusing Mozilla Firefox poster entitled, “Always Use Protection”. Amusing and an interesting way to advertise about Mozilla Firefox. There is two editions of this advertisement/poster, high quality and low quality. Make sure to pick your high quality one to print out and advertise yourself. More people doing this to spread the word the better.
