UPDATE: Father Roderick pulled a big April Fools joke on me. So this entire thing is a joke and is not true, however my plea is sincerely true.
Hi everyone. I hope I’m not posting this to late to help out Father Roderick. Father Roderick has recently announced in his podcast The Daily Breakfast episode #99 that he may have to stop podcasting because his diocese staff feel he is not contributing to his projects for the dioceses. I for one of course am entirely against this and wish to help out in any way possible. Father Roderick has asked all listeners to send in an email to plea for the podcasting to continue. So if you are a subscriber to any of Father Roderick’s work please send in your comments. Father Roderick plans to take the feedback to his Bishop tomorrow, Saturday. I kind of wrote it fast since I didn’t have a lot of time. I hope it’s okay.

My email feedback plea…
Hi Father Roderick. I’m greatly saddened to hear the news that all your efforts with the Daily Breakfast could end. I’m not sure if this would affect the rest of your podcast projects and StarQuest Podcast Network. Either way I can’t begin to describe how I felt when you begin explaining your situation of
being told to end your podcast efforts. However I will try, I was joyful, excited listening to episode #99 of Daily Breakfast but towards the end of the show I felt a wash of sadness fall over me and almost tears (yes I admit it). I know exactly how you feel Father and I hope this email will do some justice
to help in your efforts to stay strong and at the end of it all keep your efforts alive.
I’ll be honest, I’m not very religious man nor a Catholic. I also do not presently attend Church unfortunately due to various reasons. However I heard about your show very close to start of it all. I’ve followed you through your adventures as a Father, as a person and as Father that is breaking new ground
into a medium that is not very well understood to the majority of the world population. I never miss an episode or any other podcats of yours for that matter. Your shows and efforts have shown me the true Catholic. You have form a world wide community, following and have united people together world wide.
You have taught me so much about Catholicisms, about being a better person, helping me grow my religious beliefs and my relationship with God. I use to be very against Catholics and the whole system but now I have learned what amazing things yourself and others are trying to achieve. You have broken all
the myths about Catholicisms for me and have answered questions I’ve always wanted to know about but were afraid to ask. You have even helped change my way of thinking and my beliefs. I’ was in the process of even sending in regular audio comments to ask further questions I’ve always wanted to know about religion and Catholicism.
Roughly a month ago I started downloading every episode of Secrets of Narnia, Secrets of Star Wars and Secrets of Harry Potter for my son to begin listening to on a regular bases. I wanted him to grow and learn that there is more to things then it appears. You don’t realize how big this is to me and for me to
pass this on to my son. You see you broke a barrier for me against Narnia and Harry Potter. I was against them and a believer that they were bad. I’m still a little uneasy about it but I hope I get a chance to address that in one of my future feedbacks to you.
I was also looking forward to the new podcast, Secrets of The Simpsons (not sure on title).
One major thing I just realized, Father Roderick is bridging the gap between religion and our daily lives. You take TV shows, movies, etc. and explain them and how they have religious references. No one has done this to my knowledge and this is big. Uniting people world wide, bring us closer to religion, to God and bring people together for a good cause. Look at all the people willing to help out in your efforts to spread Catholicism and religion in general.
Father Roderick I want you to know I will do all I can to help. I will be putting plea out on my blog to help you. I will help in whatever I can, just let me know what you need. I will also add you in my prayers! Make sure to take your subscriber numbers and download numbers. Show your Bishop the statistics. If need I will even write a letter to your Bishop.
Bishop, in the most respect possible please re-think your thoughts and study what Father Roderick has done and his impact. Try to understand how important this truly is. Fr. Roderick is not wasting his time he is putting religion in the fore front of the new age of medium and reaching people that may not have been able to be reached. Look what he has done for me and my son.
Keep up the great work and I hope this continues for years and years to come.
