ASCII Aquarium
This has to be one of the geekiest things I’ve found to date. A guy by the name of Kirk Baucom wrote a perl script that creates a virtual aquarium using ASCII characters. Chuck Houpt has created a Mac OS X package of Asciiquarium and Michael Pyne and Maksim Orlovich have created a KDE Screensaver based on Asciiquarium.
