Name That Candybar

I ran across this neat online game called “Name That Candybar” by the Science Museum of Minnesota (part of the Thinking Fountain). The object of the game is to identify the candy bar by looking at a cross section of a candy bar. It’s a good time waster :-). Good luck!

Student Survivor

I was surfing today and came across this online flash game called “Student Survivor”. The game is very similar to “The Sims”. The objective to the game is to keep your health, social life and academics up to keep the virtual character happy. You have to balance your money as well. One major difference in this game is you do not use your mouse to control the character. You have to use keywords to tell the virtual student what to do. Sometimes the student will not listen. Down side, there is advertising around the game. I don’t recall ever sewing any in the game directly.

Battlefiled 2

Hey guys I’m back sorry for not writing any blogs but I’ve been really busy with my new computer and playing Battlefield 1942. I just found out that there is a new Battlefield coming out on June 21, 2005. I got to say from looking at the screen shots its pretty good graphics. Now you have to know that it is not an expansion for Battlefield 1942. Its just a continuation of Battlefield 1942. The name of it is Battlefield 2 and for you people that are not familiar with this computer (only) game. It is a war strategy game set in the WW II. Battlefield 2 is about a hypothetical war in the near future between three powerful factions which are the United States, China, and the fictional Middle Eastern Coalition. The armies use modern weapons. The new feature for BF2 are new game play engine, realistic physics and dynamic lighting, material penetration and destructible environments. Server admins can set maps to use 16, 32 or 64 player versions to provide the ideal vehicle-to-player ratio. Custom maps can be made to scale to fit any number of players. Now I bet your thinking what about the vehicles, are there new ones. Well there is 40 new vehicles to choose from. If you want to look at them go to Wikipedia - Battlefield 2. There is also mods, some of them are: Battlefield Advanced, Battlefield Firefighter, Battlefield Apocalypse, Final Front, Flashpoint Balkan, Generals of Battlefield, Kuril Island Conflict and more. If any of you want to find more info on Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 1942 just go to Wikipedia - Battlefield 1942 and Wikipedia - Battlefield 2. I would really recommend it. Its really fun and I myself can’t wait until Battlefield 2 is released.

Beat The Meter

My wife, Jo was surfing the Internet today and she came across an online Shockwave Flash game call “Beat The Meter”. The objective to the game is to guide the character Stelios to each gas pump before the customer gets up set and to return to the car before the gas pump exceeds £10.00. You get 3 lives and a limited supply of sand to cover up gas spills. Supposedly you could win a 7 day cruise , but from what I can tell it’s not related to the game. Yes the game is an advertisement for easymoney.com but the game is neat and quite addictive. So go and see how much cash you can make :-).
