I’ve been searching all over the Internet trying to figure out how to add “audio plus” support to Winamp. For those that do not know, “audio plus” to my knowledge is album art (small pictures) added to MP3 or AAC file. Not sure if any other file formats have audio plus. The idea is while the file is playing a series of images appear at a specific time. The great thing about it is this benefit is backwards compatible. So if the player doesn’t support audio plus then you will not see the pictures. I was only able to find one solution for Winamp to add audio plus support, Cover & TAG Plugin. It’s my understanding that the pictures are played like a slide show in the video window along with MP3 tag information. This is unfortunate as I believe the pictures are suppose to appear at a given time set by the author. Either way at least one can finally view the pictures in Winamp.

If anyone knows of any other solution please let me know by posting a comment.

My wife Jo had a tattoo done and well it was okay but not really that good or what she wanted. So she recently went to “Eye of The Needle” and had Reg Morrell do it. I watched Reg do the entire tattoo and I have to say it’s amazing. It’s really realistic and 3D looking to me. I thought it was amazing to see him make the before tattoo disappear and then get the end result in the after picture. In about a month my wife has to go back one more time for touch ups and to clean it up entirely. I’m not a fan of tattoo’s but I have to say this is an awesome job and I would recommend to anyone to go to Reg and “Eye of The Needle” if you must get a tattoo.

Here are some quality WinAmp skins I thought people should know about since getting quality skins for WinAmp is tough now a days. I’m presently using a really good one called MMD3 that my oldest son found.

I heard about this cool test called “Fake or Foto?” from AutoDesk on DL.TV episode 81, July 27, 2006. Your job is to determine if the images are computer graphics (CG) or a real photograph. First try I receieved 9 out of 10. Not bad I must say :-). There is another version of this test available too, link is provided below.
